I have been hearing about a "Key Vault" issue occurring when some of you try using CONcept. A solution has been found for the issue (thanks go to Jesse!):
1) In CONcept, click the circle at the top left of the box.
2) Click Settings and open Key Vaults.
3) Open the CONcept 3.0 folder and open the Key Vaults folder.
4) Select Online and save your new settings.
5) Now click Rehash/Resign and wait for it to say "Idle".

ReplyDeleteThough you should consider mentioning Bradly Cooper and Scooter McCracken.
These players should be edited down to 36 in all attributes. If you dont want to change the file,Maybe adding something here on the post would work.
I am sure many people were waiting to start their Be A GM seasons for this to come out... I personally know how frustrating it is to have a Be A GM ruined by a fake player.

BCD - No, as stated on the PS3 Roster page, EA blocked roster sharing on the PS3 altogether. I've heard no way around it.
mk - Ogie has a transfer kit and will send me one tonight when he gets home from work and I'll post it when I get back to my hotel from the Amerks/Devils game
Wanted to post a quick thanks after getting this to work. Been following you guys since last year, and took place in the fantasy hockey league last year. Well got married this year and haven't had the time to touch the rosters I usually do myself, so finally this game is playable. Great work, much appreciated. Took me a bit with the key vault issue, but just a quick redownload, and worked like a charm. Hope you all find a way to make some money of this in the future (maybe EA will differ to you all), you deserve it. Thanks and enjoy the game!

I'd love to start making money from it haha! I can't even count how many hours I've put into all of this stuff lol! Congrats on your marriage!

ReplyDeleteWorks perfectly first try. Really amazing work. Consider this we all pay for xBox online gold which means we are forking money over to EA for an accurate roster update. They have a staff of people (we assume) to work on this. However one hockey fan in PetrPuck spends his own free time and does a better and more importantly accurate job than EA has in the previous 3 months the game has been out.

ReplyDeleteDo you need to have an Xbox USB or is a normal USB (that you f.e. use with your computer) just fine?
ReplyDeleteI use a 2 GB Dane-Elec USB that I got at Target for like $20. The XBox will format a USB (which erases everything on your USB). However, it will not recognize ALL USVB brands for some reason, which is why I tell you my type. Its cheap and works perfectly. What other brands have you guys used that work and don't work??

ReplyDeleteJohnny, you need to unzip the files. I use winzip. Download that (or something like it) and then open up each file individually and hit extract or unzip (what ever program you end up using will be different) after that you should be able to open the files.

how do i unzip the files? i saved a roster from my hard drive onto my usb and i downloaded winzip but when i open up my usb file it says i have nothing saved but when i plug it into my 360 it shows i have a roster saved on it

ReplyDeleteHey does anyone know how to get the Xbox to recognize my USB key? I've got a 4 GB USB drive and I've used it on my Xbox before. I had to delete everything off of it, though, cuz I needed it for work, but now whenever I plug it in my xbox, no matter which USB slot I use, the usb drive never shows up on my list of available storage devices. It's not the USB key--I've used it before. Something is up, and I can't progress before my xbox recognizes the key so I can format it and begin.

PetrPuck - I've just downloaded your rosters. I'm from Finland and i've just checked SM-Liiga rosters and there's one player missing in TPS Turku. The player is 15#Janne Hauhtonen C (1979-05-05 Pori, Finland. 6'3"/205 lbs R) He is a Two-way forward. If i notice more missing players, i'll let you know.
ReplyDeleteI've tried to create him, but when i save him and go to free agent list to find him, he isn't there. So what's the problem? Can't i create anymore players?
This question was answered previously. The CAP limit was reached with the AHL players. If you want to create someone else you'll have to edit a player I created.

ReplyDeleteI can't get the programs to run after extracting them. Get an "Application Error" window that says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." Any ideas on what's wrong and how I can fix it? Thanks again.
