  1. Excellent. So will Kyle Beach be getting an edit?

    ReplyDelete
  2. kyle beach is a 73, which is right around where an AHLer should be. we'll see how well he does at training camp and re-assess his attributes if necessary.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Should all CHl --> AHL players get a boost and if so will you be doing everyone? Will the game boost them up automatically during BAGM when they get called up?

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  4. is a Jordan Caron edit coming?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Markstrom (Panthers), Josefsson (Devils), Hlinka (Linkoping)and Nemeth (AIK) missing... awesome if you could do them!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Just letting you guys know Eddie Lack is 6'5 194lbs not 6'4 187lbs

    ReplyDelete
  7. According to the official Canucks training camp guide, he is 6'4" 187 lbs. I trust the team's sites over other sources so that's what I go by.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Even though its the official canucks site, they arent very reliable. In the article when they signed Lack it listed him as 6'4 190lbs which is different from what they list on their rosters

    ReplyDelete
  9. to prove how unreliable canucks official site is, they still list a few players that they don't have rights to anymore and players who have signed elsewhere like Lukowich and McIver

    ReplyDelete
  10. When will a full version of the xbox360 downloadable roster be out?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Is it possible that you can do a few CHL rookies as I cannot do some CHL>>>AHL moves due to lack of players?

    ReplyDelete
  12. footesh:

Try to pcik som others players in CHL who is "free agents", and put them in the CHL-teams for the moment, then you don't have the "18 minimum"-problem :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'd rather keep the rosters realistic as possible. I started going through the teams (OHL) and creating all missing guys (besides the ratings/equip/looks) using PetrPuck's roster guides. I'm definitely going to hit the CAP player limit. I hope they increased it this year. There's about 100 guys missing from the OHL so far, although I could knock a few down.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Good luck keeping the CHL legit right now. There are over 425 missing CHL players as I have them all listed in their respective "Current List" pages! Maybe EA will edit these rosters also, but something tells me they won't be able to keep up with it...

On top of the CHL, I have 100% completed the "Current Lists" for ALL leagues in the game. Check them out on the left side near the top under the NEWS label.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Figured the number would be quite high, I think I'm only going to do OHL for now and just enough to make the rest of the AHL transfers for WHL/QMJHL. It's probably best I just wait until EA does it. Will you be making edits for the 2011 eligible players (specifically their ratings/potentials)? That's all that would matter if EA chugs one out.

    ReplyDelete
  16. just curious. the potential levels in nhl 12 are lower across the board compared to nhl 11. in regards to your caps, are you not concerned you are making a whole bunch of super prospects?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Well first of all, I'd like to know how you know what everyone's potential in NHL 12 is going to be =P

Secondly, no. I'm not at all concerned that I'm making "super prospects" because someone with a C rating is not going to jump up 10 overall. I'm very hesitant to give a player high potentials such as As and even A- in most cases. Oh and... you're not obligated by law to give them exactly the ratings I did. If yours are wrong though, I'm sorry you screwed up your NHL 12 experience.

    PS: How's the future??!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. yeah keith, let me know if they added NCAA in NHL12 :P

    ReplyDelete
  19. haha, oops. NHL 11.

If I came across as a smart ass that was not my intention. Just after doing some tests in NHL 11 some of your created players get super good, super fast. Like I know Oliver Ekman-Larsson is going to be great, but he was almost 90 overall in 3 years. I have made my own adjustments, I was just curious because there are obviously far fewer A- potential players in NHL 11 compared to NHL 10.

    ReplyDelete
  20. When does this stop--or--are we going to continue to keep making caps throughout the season--with no time to play the damned game !

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why would I stop making CAPs? You're not obligated to add everyone, but don't blame me when your game isn't accurate. =D

    ReplyDelete
  22. do you have a date in mind for the roster patch for the 360

    ReplyDelete
  23. Eric Selleck is not appearing on the Rochester list. Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  24. Actually, on second thought, I appreciate this undertaking. These caps are great ! I curse and swear, because I can't keep up wiyh you guys ! LOL On a serious note, there are some seriously deficient current player attributes, that desperately need adjusting. Regehr at 88, is absurd. Brodie, at 70 ! Myers at 80.Boogaard at 81, 70 offensive awareness is ridiculous. If you guys get a minute, can you please adjust 20-30 of the worst player attribute screw ups by EA.Also, Niemi at 84. Rask at 84. Ward at 88 -not realistic. Again, thanks for all your genius contributions towards our caps--and--a more statistically accurate game play.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So when can we expect the rosters to be available now that all players under NHL contract have been created?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Can you please post Tommy Wingels of the Sharks ? He is not in the created Worcester Shark list.--Thank You.

    ReplyDelete
  27. After all players are created, will you guys work on the much needed player attribute edits? We can do on our own, but, you guys are the experts and have done far more than EA on the create a player aspect, having created a more realistic game. Much appreciated !!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Must be something wrong on the Rochester page, no Clakson on there. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  29. There will be an official NHL 11 roster update with over 500 new players next week.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Great work!!! Looking forward to edits on Beach, Scott TImmins and Colby Robak

    ReplyDelete
  31. Cannot find the majority of player edits.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thank You. My assumption is that the newer editions take precedent over the older same player edits.

    ReplyDelete
  33. How Blogger works is it records a timestamp to the minute for each post, and what I have to do when I do a post, is change the date to the same date so the posts don't show up on the main page. It will only display a few posts per page so you have to click "older posts" to go to the next page of posts.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Thanks for the clarification regarding organization of your highly talented player edits.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Seeems that EA updated junior rosters, did nothing with minors [AHL]. Breen s gone, and others who made AHL. So weird. So incompetent.

    ReplyDelete
  36. About your EA Update Roster Movements, on the Missing AHL section, what do you exactly mean when you have a note 'CHL' on a player?

I tried looking for them on their CHL teams but they are not there. Will this players be a CAP and if so, will you have a CAP sheet for us to follow?

Thanks in advance and keep up the awesome work.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It means that player was in the CHL but is no longer in the game. Many of them can be found under the "Edited Players" section here.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Minus equipment, minus appearance ! Do you not think we should wait for the next update, prior to adding latest edits? I mean -this is getting really complicated and tremendously time consuming.

    ReplyDelete
  39. thanks PetrPuck. after awhile i figured out wat that CHL thing meant and realized EA f'd it up major.

so glad i didnt delete the manual roster moves i made using your roster guide. thanks again.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The edits I'm posting aren't things you have to add into your game, if you plan on downloading our roster update this week. Basically everything we post on the site will be in the update - CAPs, player edits, goalie equipment edits, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hey, I usually use your site for a few CAPs for my specific team but now that I see yo uwill be making a downloaded roster I'm waiting for that to restart my BAGM. Do you still think it will be done by tonight as expected? Also are you using the latest update and editing that or using the first update which included all the 230 deleted players (i.e. will I have a CAP Hodgson or the one actually from the game and the other players as CAPs?) Looking forward to it, great work.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Do you have a better idea as to whether this will be done today or later this week? I'm excited to try out your update. Also, Will you be using the latest update and create players like Hodgson or use the first update which already has them and make roster movements on that roster. Keep up the good work guys.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Obviously, we weren't able to finish it in time, with EA screwing the AHL up so horribly, giving us 230 missing players to try to add back in somehow, to the dynasty glitch that forced us to redownload the new version and restart after we had 1/3 of it done, to 2 deaths in my family in 2 days, to Ogie's USB drive messing up and his XBox no longer recognizing it - so he's buying a new one. He'll have it done for this weekend though for sure. And then we can all be happy that round one is finally done. We sincerely apologize for all of the delays, but as you can see, really nothing in our control that has delayed us. Hope you guys can understand, its been a long rough couple weeks for us!

    -PP

    ReplyDelete
  44. So I've been following this site for a little while now. Are you guys planning on having a USB functional roster finished this weekend? With CAP's and all?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Please read the "ROSTER DOWNLOAD INFO" topic to learn about the roster download.

    ReplyDelete
  46. My main question was if you guys would have it finished/uploaded by this weekend.

(not meaning to come across rude)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Wasn't taken as rude, but the Roster Download Info has all of the info you'll need in it. According to Ogie - the guy that fixes up the download - it will be ready this weekend as he's just doing the last 50 or so edits and fixing the wonderful goalie equipment that EA so graciously screwed up (they made half of the equipment black).

    ReplyDelete
  48. Just wanted to say thank you guys on behalf of Operation Sports. You guys doing this roster work make the game that much better. Kudos!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Thanks for your hard work, I would like to request CAP for both Jaden Schwartz and Vladimir Taresenko for the St Louis Blues, thanks

    ReplyDelete
  50. Please read the "Current List" section before requesting CAPs.

    ReplyDelete
  51. PeterPuck, are you planning to edit the attributes of the NHL goaltenders?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Will you be creating a CAP for Josh Green of the Ducks as I can't find him anywhere in the game? Also will there be edits for Kyle Clifford and Jacob Muzzin of the Kings?

    ReplyDelete
  53. You should pay attention with your Pardubice roster. 3 players in the game are with the team but not in your roster. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  54. It's funny you say Pardubice's roster is wrong, when there are only 4 players missing in total:

    *Filip Landsman
    Branislav Mezei
    Lukáš Nahodil
    Tomáš Sýkora

None of whom are in the game. If you think that Tomáš Sýkora from Zlín should be on Pardubice, you need to check your info again. There are two players by that name, and the one on Pardubice is a 20 year old LW from Slovakia, whereas the one actually in the game on Zlín, is 32 and from Czech Republic.

You need to pay attention to the rosters. Please don't post false information anymore. Thanks.

Here is a link to HC Eaton Pardubice's official roster. Go back and check your game again.

  55. Libor Pivko plays for Neftkhimik Nizhnekamsk in the KHL. If you follow my roster movements guide you'd know he's no longer on HC Eaton Pardubice. Here's an article from last week. Also who are the other 2 players you were referring to me missing?

    -PP

    ReplyDelete
  56. Where is the article ?
This is the recents pardubice stats. Pivko is the second scorer.
    http://www.hcpce.cz/statistiky.asp
This is the pardubice Roster according to hockey DB
    http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/csl.php?tid=2083

Where is Pivko on the recent Neftkhimik roster ?
    http://en.khl.ru/clubs/neftekhimik

    ReplyDelete
  57. And i still searching in your roster movement guide and still not found Pivko.

First, i was just trying to help you to get the best rosters possible. If you are not able to accept than you are not god and you do some mistakes too, i will just let you with your roster mistakes.

With an attitude like that, I will keep your mistake for me in the future...

    Good bye.

PS: You do a great job whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Also, you've still yet to list the other 2 of 3 players supposedly on HC Eaton Pardubice.

    ReplyDelete
  59. In terms of Schaber, thank you for pointing him out. He was misreported on EliteProspects during training camp as being signed. I'll remove his affiliation in Version 2.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Pivko movement

I never said I was God haha... I asked you to name the THREE players missing from HC Eaton Pardubice, and listed the information for you. The Pivko article link originally didn't work, which I apologize for. When I asked you to name the players missing, you listed one of the 3 you claimed to be missing. I linked you to their official roster so that you could check and see that my guide was correct. I never said I don't make mistakes, as I said thank you for pointing out Schaber, but when someone tells me I've done something wrong after I've already shown them it is right, yes I'm going to get a little annoyed at having to prove people wrong on a consistent basis. If you dealt with half the dumb emails and comments I get on a daily basis, your annoyance level would go up also. I appreciate you pointing out mistakes, and never intended on my comments coming across with an attitude - I was just reiterating your original comment about HC Eaton Pardubice.

    Take care and enjoy!

  61. First, sorry for my English. I'm from Eastern part in Canada and speak French so it's not always easy for me to explain my complete ponit of view.

Also, i accept your apologizes and your explanation. I understand, you must receive so many emails and wrong comments.

My turn to give you my apologize for Pivko. I never see the article and according to another credible site (hockey DB), he was still on the pardubice roster and he is not on the russian team roster at this time. Also, for the 2 more players i told you, it was my own mistake cos, in you're roster you put players in alphabetical order but for X reason, pardubice had 2 players who wasn't in alphabetical order. My bad observation.

Make sure to understand my point of view. I'm 40 years old and i'm a great hockey fan since 1979. I also want the most realistic and roster as possible with the EA NHL game, just like you. That's why i send you a little message to make some corrections.

Keep it up and continue your amazing job PP ;).

My apologizes again and if i can do something to help you, let me know.

  62. Great job ! Thank You and the boys for a 'lesson in near perfection.' I am 'one of the older guy,' so, transferring to the Xbox was no easy task. I took my issue over to Best Buy, rosters were transferred within 20 minutes for 29 bucks ! Well worth it. Again, thank you for all your work.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Do have a question, are we up to date, ref. to your' rosters. Has anything you posted on this site, been left out of your December rosters? Equipment, etc?

    ReplyDelete
  64. That sucks that you had to pay so much for them!

What I included in the update:

-All CAPs/Edits of players under NHL contract playing in the NHL or AHL (no players who are on AHL Contracts only were added in for lack of CAP space)
-All NHL & AHL goaltender equipment was edited
-All roster movements up until December 2, 2010 were included, for ALL leagues
-Lines were edited to reflect injured players (I did not edit all teams lines to their actual lines, I mostly went by depth charts which are not usually accurate line representations)
-All edited NHL/AHL players were switched up accordingly
-A few other miscellaneous things I may have forgotten that I added in

    Things I forgot to include:
-Bradley Cooper & Scooter McCracken edits (should both be edited down to 36)
-Mike Comrie (#19) & Deryk Engelland (#5) numbers are incorrect in the update
-I think that's the only major thing I left out but if I think of anything else I'll let you know

I'm currently working on Version 2 which I plan to:
    -Edit several more NHL/AHL players
    -Update roster movements & lineups
-Edit Euro league & CHL goalie equipment
    -Edit NHL/AHL player equipment

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INTEREST IN HELPING ME OUT WITH PLAYER EQUIPMENT EDITS? IT'S EASY BUT I HAVE 60 TEAMS TO UPDATE!! IF YOU WANT TO HELP PLEASE EMAIL OR IM ME ASAP!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hey Petr, FYI, the link to Elitserien goalie equipment edits isn't working for me, if anyone else is having this issue, then you can look in to it, if not, the its my loss.

  66. Graham - FIXED! & I just added the SM-Liiga goalie equipment edits too!

  67. Is it impossible to create new players (I uploaded the rosters). Is the cap limit long gone?
I wanted to make finland-tps-sm-league player Janne Hauhtonen.

    ReplyDelete
  68. hey, just wanna say great job on the update...
being that i am a sens fan, there is a new player in Djurgardens IF: Marcus Sorenson
i dunno whats the protocol but would love to see a cap done on him whenever possible. just a heads up

    thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Has version 2 been released, Petr? Thank You.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Jill - Thanks for letting me know of Sorenson's recall. He might me made someday, but probably not anytime soon.

Prentice - Not yet. I'm taking my time and trying to get a lot of the equipment fixed on it. I can't add in anymore CAPs, so other than equipment and recent roster moves, there's not much to update on.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Are you going to be updating so that there are junior teams?

    ReplyDelete
  72. If I could I would, but how am I supposed to create 200 junior players when I can't even get all of the AHL guys into the game?
