Hello, Hello!
So EA FINALLY released an update, in which they fixed up the CHL, NHL, & Euro leagues. BUT as many of you noticed, due to their licensing agreements/pure laziness, they DELETED 95% of the CHL players that were in the original rosters who came to the AHL this offseason. So now we will have to add them all back in for you (joy)! With the additional work we are pushing our guaranteed release date back to Tuesday, though I was reassured by Ogie that we'd be good to go before Sunday anyway. You'll be happy to know that the USB functionality DOES in fact work!! We will release all of the information on that, including a "How To" video, and PDF version of a "How To" document, courtesy of GooseGoose35! We'll keep you updated on the progress.
THERE IS NO NEED TO CONSTANTLY EMAIL ME ABOUT THE USB STUFF OR WHEN THIS WILL BE RELEASED!!

ReplyDeleteNot yet. We are trying to figure out a way to get it working with PS3 but for now its only on 360. And yes we'll have instructions included.

Hey Petr, I am not asking for the entire instructions right now, but can you list what we would need to use to DL and use the 360 roster?
ReplyDeleteI have been creating the CAPs as you post them, but I still got a LONG way to go to get the Roster Movements finished.
I am not sure if I have what it takes to use the 360 Roster, so I dont know if I should just stop and wait for the DL or if I should continue with my own movements?
As of right now at least for the first roster download, it is going to be based through the transfer kit. So you'll need one of those to download/upload it. We're still testing the USB so its a possibility later on.

@mkharsh33... good to see you around these parts, bud.. how did the MLB stuff go.. I focused my time on MyPlayer and lost touch with the roster scene.
I don't have one but Ogie does. He does the transfers using his Datel transfer kit.

ReplyDeleteOgie is flying down here this weekend to visit and then we are going to finalize everything and test the USB functionality. Then we will have at least a Transfer Kit file to download by Monday night.
ReplyDeleteAnd I do apologize that we are overdue but you need to understand that the 3 of us have jobs and with the hockey season underway I've been working a lot more lately! Also, I've been dealing with a lot of personal issues with my house back in New York as all of my stuff was ruined in a flood - so my mind has been a bit off kilter the last few weeks. Ogie was waiting on me to get all of the NHL contracted CAPs done and goalie equip edits up so he can update everyone and have legitimate NHL and AHL rosters for you in update #1!

ReplyDeletethe new roster update is close to useless. It wont save u too many cap slots as they didn't make any Euro or NCAA prospects that moved to the AHL. They also completely took out players from the CHL who moved to the AHL. Kadri, Hodgson and anyone else who jumped to the AHL from the CHL is no longer in the game.

ReplyDeleteI hope I can transfer these using USB, but mainly I just want to say thanks for all your hard work. Don't apologize. You guys are doing the rest of us a huge favor. So take all the time you need. EA gets paid to this and has repeatedly fell short.
ReplyDeletePetr, one more thing that would seem helpful to me would be if you can post a summary list of changes you've made to the new roster update. You don't have to list specific specific edits. It could have a section on cap names, transactions, and players edited and users could just go to the appropriate page for the actual changes. I know you're already doing a TON for all of us, but this seems like it could be really useful.

What part of NY are you from Mitchell? I currently live in Florida but had to spend alot of time on the phone with my parents and stuff figuring it all out. Everything in my room was ruined pretty much, so when I go home for Christmas, I'll be sleeping on the couch probably haha!

ReplyDeleteLet me take a stab at answering this. Umm yes today. BUT Ogie's USB drive isn't working right and I still have 20 or so players to edit for him so it WILL be released Friday. EA really screwed us over leaving out 230+ AHL players, and then not touching the German or Czech leagues was pretty low too.

ReplyDeletePetr I'm from Westchester County--Rangers territory. I don't know if you're from upstate but I assumed you meant that you were from the area around the city, especially because we've been having terrible floods the past 3 or 4 years.
ReplyDeleteI'm from faaaaaar upstate (Ogdensburg). Ottawa is the closest city to me, and my street back home floods during really heavy rain and about a month ago it rained for a week straight and screwed everything up.

ReplyDeleteIt will most likely be released Sunday. EA messed up all of the goalie equipment that they supposedly updated too! Half of it is BLACK on everyone's equipment!!!
ReplyDeletelol I understand the issues but you should really stop saying guaranteed release date. I think there have been 5 guaranteed dates. Just say it's being worked on, because I think by saying there is a specific day, and over and over it gets pushed back people are frustrated.

i got a question. If your adding created players to the CHL are they gonna have a red face if we draft them? I created a guy and drafted him first overall in the 2011 draft and first game of the 11-12 season he had a bright red face. I read somewhere that this happens when you draft created guys in BeAGM. I havent tried since the patch so i dunno if this was fixed.

ReplyDeleteRYAN - How is the EA roster update? Haven't had a chance to look at it. I love this site and think it's great what they are doing, but with 2 months of guaranteed release dates, it might be too much work to have a downloadable roster. There's a site with a roster that is updated bi-weekly, but you have to pay $10.99 I'll try and find a link.

Josh - That's alot of money for an NHL roster. NCAA & FIFA maybe. We were thinking about charging a few bucks for our download but since we didn't get one out when we planned on it originally, I decided I'm not going to make you guys pay now.

ReplyDeleteAs I've stated a few times, we have a "How To" video made by Andrew that we're including in the download package. Also included in it are two programs you'll need to install in order to resign the download to your profile from ours.

ReplyDeleteNo. As it says on the PS3 Roster page, EA blocked the transfer of rosters on the PS3.

ReplyDeletejust a heads up. Any created players added to the CHL once you draft them in your BEaGM they will have a bright red face. I just tried this again after the update and it still happens.

ReplyDeleteJesse that's right. We haven't had to add any players to the CHL because EA actually did an excellent job with the CHL rosters. The update I'll be posting tonight is based on the Nov 4th EA roster update.
