OK folks, here's the news.
I have gone through the AHL, DEL, & Czech leagues so far (and yes I have made an updated roster movements guide based on the update, but I am not going to continually update both, so be sure once you complete the Update Roster Movements Guide, that you revert to the original). With that, I've discovered that nearly 230 players are missing from the AHL after EA's player rights debacle (more info below). The CAP limit is not going to allow us to add everyone in now... so we'll have to come up with some means of getting everything proper before releasing a half-assed update.
Click here for the Roster Movements Guide based on EA's November 4th, 2010 "updated" roster download.
There are some programs you'll need to install in order to get your roster file to work. We will include them in the roster file package download. Thanks goes out to Andrew for creating a "How To" video for you all as well.
About the AHL "updated" rosters:
99% of the rookie CAPs and CHL players that are now in the AHL, were left out of the update. By left out, I mean either not created, or completely removed from the game. EA claims that they were unable to get a single one of the 230ish players to sign his PHPA licensing agreement to allow his likeness in the game. Under the CHL, they were allowed to be in, but now that they're in the AHL, EA no longer holds the rights to those players under any license. I'd be shocked to see a legitimate update out of EA before New Years! You guys are lucky to have us around to make up for EAs lackluster efforts.
